MAPIR Lens Protectors are designed to protect the lens of Mapir Survey3 or Survey2 camera as well as most 22.5mm diameter lenses. Manufactured to resist the harshest environments the Lens Protector is a two part system consisting of a threaded clear glass abrasion resistant (AR) filter and a lens slip mount surround which fastens to the camera lens with 3 opposing set screws.

MAPIR Lens Protectors are designed to protect the lens of Mapir Survey3 or Survey2 camera. Manufactured using optically flat glass, the Lens Protector fastens to the camera lens with 3 opposing set screws on the slip mount portion. Once securely fitted onto the camera’s lens surround, the threaded clear glass abrasion resistant (AR) filter can be attached. Other optical filters can also be attached.

This is durable for even the harshest environments. Additionally a dust ring fits around the lens within the mount to keep debris out. This lens protector works perfectly in all Mapir camera mounts and with the camera clips. It will also work on most cameras utilising an S-mount (M12 lens) with a 22.5mm diameter

* If it is difficult to turn the grub screws in the mount then a H0.9 driver is recommended.

FEATURES

The Mapir lens protector features a rubber ring that slides over the lens to act as a dust seal. Next a slip mount ring is fitted on the lens and is positioned so one of the three grub screw holes is at the top of the camera. This ring is also positioned so the protective filter screws on close to the front of the lens without impacting. The three grub screws are tightened so the lens protector does not loosen. Finally the optically flat clear glass filter can be attached. Other optional filters may also be fitted.
