Mapir Survey3 Camera HDMI PWM Trigger Cables
Use this cable to send a PWM (pulse width modulation) signal to Mapir Survey3 cameras to perform various functions. The cables are available in lengths of 20 or 50cm and for single or dual camera operation. Operation information is provided in the OPERATION Tab below
MAPIR – MAPPING THE INVISIBLE
Use this cable to send a PWM (pulse width modulation) signal to Mapir Survey3 cameras to perform various functions. The cables are available in lengths of 20 or 50cm and for single or dual camera operation.
The cameras are triggered by differing PWM signals:
- 1000us is a neutral, do not do anything level.
- 2000us pulse trigger the camera shutter (take a photo)
- 1500us pulse width to have the camera enter USB Media Transfer mode.
If the camera is connected to a computer using the USB/POWER/FPV port, when in transfer mode the camera’s SD memory card will then become mounted to the computer and you can access it as if the SD card was plugged into the memory card reader on your computer. This is very useful if using a companion computer on a drone as it is possible to extract the images from the camera and onto the computer’s memory. Then you can do anything you want, such as process the photos or store them onto an external memory stick or SSD to easily take the photos off your drone.

OPERATION
MAPIR Survey3 cameras can be triggered by differing PWM (pulse width modulation) signals:
- 1000us is a neutral, do not do anything level.
- 1500us pulse width to have the camera enter USB Media Transfer mode.

With Survey3 cameras you can send a 1500us pulse width to have the camera enter USB Media Transfer Mode. If the camera is connected to a computer using the USB/POWER/FPV port, when in Transfer Mode the camera’s SD memory card will then become mounted to the computer and you can access it as if the SD card was plugged into the memory card reader on your computer.
